Horizontal multi-head Edge Polisher easily shapes & polishes monolithic and laminated edges in a single-pass.

Preprogrammed profiles for a variety of shapes make setup fast and simple; profiles include flat edge, flat edge with radius top & bottom, bullnose, half-bullnose, demi-bullnose, and other convex shapes for 2 cm (3/4″) to 6 cm (2-3/8″) stone thickness.

The “Velocity” can handle pieces up to 12′ long x 12′ wide (with support conveyor).

Control: Easy-to-use, user-friendly color touch-screen; preprogrammed operator parameters including profile configurations for varying stone thicknesses, conveyor speed, spindle motor selection, spindle stagger & holddown timing.

Additional controls: User-friendly help screens, on-screen diagnostics, maintenance schedule management, setup screens, and more.

Spindles: (1) Back gauging spindle, (2) pre-grinding spindles for waste material removal, (1) Servo driven shaping spindle, (6) polishing spindles, (2) chamfer spindles.

Center water feed on all spindles except Servo shaping spindle; internal air purge on all spindles to prevent bearing and seal contamination.

Dimensions: 31′-2″ Long x 8-3/4′ wide x 7′-10″ high overall dimensions (including input, output, and swing-out conveyors); approx. weight of 16,000 Lbs.

Pneumatic holddowns: (19) 2″ Bore x 4″ stroke Heavy Duty triple-rod air cylinders with non-marring Urethane rollers in stainless steel yokes; built-in skew to minimize stone shifting.

Powered belt conveyor drive, 2′ wide x 17′ long non-slip, non-marring conveyor belt; 1 HP duty AC motor with variable frequency drive speed control (2 – 40 IPM).

Infeed/Outfeed Conveyors – Infeed Conveyor: 72″ Long x 31″ wide with “all way” rollers and non-marring guide fence. – Outfeed Conveyor: 72″ Long x 31″ wide, “all way” rollers; swing-out support conveyor provides overhanging stone support from 9″ – 36″ from outside edge of conveyor belt.
